The course of implementation of a PrestaShop online store

The contract for a particular implementation is signed after the client has accepted our final price offer on applying their suggested guidelines.

Analysis of client's needs and ideas
Right at the beginning, each of our clients receives a brief, i.e. a questionnaire allowing us to familiarize ourselves with the expectations of a client for their new store. In the above mentioned brief, among other things, the client determines the color of the store and mentions other stores whose graphics he or she particularly likes. Once we receive the file back and get familiarized with the answers, we discuss them with the client - at this stage we indicate the best possible solutions and determine the final scope of works to be done.
A model layout of store functionalities
Before we start working on the target graphic template, we send each client a model of the store layout presenting a suggested layout of all the elements of their store. At this stage, the client comments on our suggestions – after the final version is agreed upon, we create and send the prepared model on which the target graphic template of the store will be based.
Graphic template of the online store
We create graphic templates in accordance with previously prepared models and arrangements. Depending on the selected package, we prepare templates for the following pages: home page, category page, product page, shopping cart page and contact page. The designed template is sent to the client in the form of a static web page - the client has the opportunity to get acquainted with the project by opening it in a web browser (the page is created in the form of jpg images – there is nothing dynamic or clickable).
Accepting the graphic template
Once the client has checked a suggested graphic template, he or she sends us their approval or comments regarding the template. If there are any remarks or suggestions, we get familiar with them and, if possible, implement them into the project, which we then send to the client again. The number of possible alterations to the project depends on the particular price package chosen by the client.
Implementation of the graphic template into the PrestaShop system
After the final version of a graphic template has been accepted by the client, we implement it into the PrestaShop software. Upon completion, we send a working link to the client so that he or she can get acquainted with the implemented store by logging in to the administration panel and checking how to manage each item – everything according to the attached instructions. The implemented store allows you to manage all the store elements from the administration panel – this applies to any additional content comprising the template, links, banners and sliders.
Transferring the store to the (target) server indicated by the client
Once the implementation is accepted, the store is moved to the client's server. The client provides us with the data necessary to install the store on the server and domain of their choice.

Will I have influence on the appearance of my store?

Yes, we create each store according to the client’s guidelines and this includes the graphic template (of the store) – it is the client who decides on the shape of their store, on its colors and layout – we advise and suggest the best solutions so that the final look of the store can be the resultant of the client's idea and our suggestions.

Will I be able to develop my store in the future?

Yes, an implemented store can be developed and expanded with new functionalities and modules as well as modified in terms of its graphics at any time.

Will I receive a store management manual?

Yes, when we finish implementing your store, we send you a PDF file containing the description of how to manage particular elements of your store. What is more, we offer our assistance in your learning how to use the system.

JWhat rights do I acquire after the work is done?

Once all the works are complete and the account settled, the ownership of the store – that is the graphics and other works performed by us – is transferred to the client. The transfer does not include the PrestaShop engine, which is an open source license.

When do I settle the accounts?

A contract signed with a client divides the process of implementation into different stages. The settlement occurs separately for every stage, we issue an invoice for each completed and accepted stage. After all stages have been paid for, the implementation is installed on the client's server.
